GREETING AND ESTIMATE

Arriving at Fenders auto body shop, you’ll be greeted by our friendly staff and one of our professional estimators will perform a visual inspection, explain the processes required for auto body repair, and prepare a written estimate. The estimator will also give you an approximate time frame for auto repairs, and assist you with rental car reservations if necessary. Once your car is scheduled for repairs, parts are ordered and received prior to your car’s arrival.

DROPPING OFF YOUR CAR

When dropping off your vehicle for repairs, we’ll make arrangements with the car rental agency to pick you up if you have a reservation. We also have a shuttle available.

Once the car repair order is authorized, our staff goes through a detailed check list and places your car in process, making sure it is given the utmost care, including covering the driver’s seat and installing floor mat covers. We’ll be in contact with you to keep you updated on progress and estimated completion date.

AUTO REPAIRS

The vehicle is quickly disassembled to ensure that all of the damage has been documented, and that all of the received parts are correct.

Sometimes structural damage cannot be determined until your car has been taken apart. If your vehicle is diagnosed with structural damage, we move quickly to determine the extent, informing both you and your insurance company.

Fenders prides itself on using only Cheetah Star-A-Liner 360 degree hydraulic frame machines along with a Chief Genesis II laser measuring system to achieve this standard. Together, they allow us to align the frame of your vehicle back to the manufacturer’s specifications-within hundredths of an inch!

PAINT

If your vehicle requires auto painting, it will get the VIP treatment. We employ a Golden West heated semi-down draft paint booth equipped with specialized “downdraft” fans. The fans are designed to pull contaminates away from the car so they don’t contaminate the paint.

Our booth is also heated for optimal drying temperature so that your vehicle’s finish is restored to its sleek factory shine. Heating our booth also streamlines the amount of drying time needed so your car can be reassembled quickly.

ASSEMBLY

Your vehicle returns to the technician after it has been refinished for inspection and reassembly.

FINAL INSPECTION

Every vehicle panel that is refinished is polished and waxed. The car is then cleaned inside and out before going back to the estimator for final inspection, ensuring that no detail has been overlooked.

VEHICLE DELIVERY

After a complete inspection of your vehicle repair, we certify that all the necessary steps have been taken to restore its crash worthiness and guarantee the auto repairs for as long as you own the vehicle.

Your car will then be waiting for you to pick up, clean and like new.
